Finding the site comes after four years of researching, searching the internet, seeking advice and visiting over 40 potential sites in Hungary. The knowledge gained over thes past four years has helped clarify the needs for such a place in terms of size, location, accessibility and price.

Why Bickse fits the bill?
- It is 22 miles west of Budapest, within easy travelling distance of the city.
- It is within walking distance of the train and bus station. The train to Budapest takes 30 mins and buses around 40 mins. The M1 motorway exit is 2 miles away.
- The site is adjacent to a 3* hotel, an stately home currently used as an orphanage, a Baptist church and a main road.
- The site 2.5 hectares (6.2 acres) and the current buildings are 1,000m².
- The site was originally a residential horse-riding centre which means that the first floor of the main building is already ideal for running camps being able to sleep 54 people. The ground floor would need some modifications and some additional building work would be required. The other buildings include a house, garages, workshops, covered eating areas and a playground all surrounded by 80 fruit trees.
